My goal is to capture the ineffable spirit of a person.

There’s never a guarantee that’s going to happen and to expect it to, puts too much pressure on myself, the other person, and the process, so…I just try to prepare to the best of my ability, stay present during the shoot, and let the experience play out.

I guess in that way, it’s a lot like how I try to live my life.
